Review
To me this book had more ups than downs. The speed is fairly quick moving and the dialogue is witty and fun. I did find the main character Lizzie to be a little whiney, but she won points for big heart and bravery. I must say a coven full of old biker witches with smart mouths, bad attitude, and questionable fashion sense was a fresh take on grandmothers worldwide. But the reason this book was so likeable to me was one four pawed, lovable Pirate. He stole my heart from his first word and every time he spoke it was pure comedy. I loved him he made this book truly smile worthy.
I recommend this book for anyone who likes sassy old ladies, talking pets, star wars references, and loyal families.
