The Twelve. Twelve of the most vicious demons have escaped from Hell and have one objective, kill Charley Davidson and to bring her mangled corpse to Satan on a silver platter. But Charley has more on her own plate than just a mob of monstrous beasts. For one her father has gone missing and the more she follows his tracks the more she realizes he was leading an investigation, one that has Charley questioning everything she ever thought she knew about him. Add to that a departed ex-BFF who just won't stop bitching, a string of disappearances with nothing in common except suicide notes that have authorities baffled, and a drop-dead fiancé who has attracted the eye of a local news woman who has more on her mind than just a sit down interview. Charley is not having the best week but she's bound and determined to protect her little slice of heaven on Earth.
Review
Seventh Grave and No Body is the seventh book in the Charley Davidson series by author Darynda Jones. Sixth Grave on the Edge ended with a bang. Now in tis seventh installment Charley's world has been turned upside down mostly because she is no longer drinking coffee. One of the things that makes this series great is its zany cast of characters. I love the way all these misfits have become this odd-ball family who have gone from hating eachother and in some cases trying to kill each other, to sitting around a table having meals together. I just adore the heart and humor that fills this series.
