In the small town of Sleepy Hollow a mystery is afoot, it's not the story of the Headless Horseman that has people scratching their heads, it's the new woman with no recollection of who she is or her past. Her name is Janey Doer and she's working in a diner just trying to get by. So when she starts seeing dead people and odd things start to happen with some of the regulars she begins to wonder just who is she. No one can out run their past but it may take more than she's willing to give to make through the present.
Review
The Dirt on the Ninth Grave is the ninth book in the Charley Davidson series by Darynda Jones. This book is one of the most interesting books I've read in along time. After a traumatic event, Charley loses her memory and ends up in Sleepy Hollow,New York. Not knowing who she is, she does know she still has to survive. Eventhough she has no idea who she is she's still surrounded by those she loves. That's the part I love most about this book, you're there when she remeets and refalls in love with her family and friends. My favorite part was when Charley talks about the woman haunting her apartment and then you realize it's her Aunt Lil pulling a Mr.Wong so she can keep an eye on her. I loved this book, it made me fall in love the characters all over again.
