Forst Burned

Mercy Thompson, VW mechanic and a walker is adjusting to her new role as mate and wife to Adam Hauptman. When she and her step daughter go out for a little black Friday shopping things don't work  out how they've planned after being in a minor finder bender Mercy finds that only one member of the pack remains. Ben the resident pack smart ass has been beaten pretty badly and has witnessed the abduction on his whole pack and the harm to pack family. Now it's up to Mercy, Ben, and a handful of friends are the only ones who are capable of saving the day, if only they knew what exactly it was they were saving it from.

Review
Frost Burned is the seventh book in the Mercy Thompson series by Patricia Briggs. I love this book for one reason and that's because of Ben. Ben has become one of my favorite characters in this series and finally we get a big dose of the British snark  that makes him so both likable and an ass at the same time. There's sadness to this book too and the pack loses one of its most important members. I love the mix of emotions that only a stellar author can bring forth and Briggs does just that.
