Mercy Thompson the VW mechanic is a walker, a person gifted with native magic, she can change into a coyote. She also just got married to her handsome neighbor and the local werewolf alpha Adam Hauptman. Though the wedding was a surprise the honeymoon is even more so. Review
River Marked is the sixth book in the Mercy Thompson series by Patricia Briggs. This book was not one of my favorites in this series. To me the best part of these books is the characters and they're only it in it for a chapter or two. But do not get me wrong you have to read this book. It explains so much about Mercy and her past, that you get a brand new appreciation for Mercy and what she has been through. I also enjoyed the native legends, it was interesting.
