Review
Magic Bites is the first book in the Kate Daniels series by Ilona Andrews. I'm a huge fan of urban fantasy's and this series does the genre proud. Kate is a smart mouth, hard hitting, merc and she makes no apologies about it. The relationship between Kate and Curran is fun, they both annoy eachother while still being drawn together. I have to admit that this book has one moment that just pisses me off. At one point Curran and his shapeshifters makes Kate give them information and then they decide to confront her almost boyfriend. This I'm ok with what bothers me is after the shapeshifters have ruined her relationship Curran tells her next time keep your ideas to yourself.  This annoys because it was all his doing and then he turns everything on her. GRR...men!
