Mark of the Demon is the first book in the Kara Gillian series by Diana Rowland. This book is not your typical demon story. It's a fresh take on something that's been around for thousands of years. Kara is a smart mouth, cop who trying to prove she has what it takes to be a detective. There are parts of this book that are a little on the long side, but what I really liked about this book is the mystery, who-done-it. I'm also a really big fan of Ryan there is something so a-dork-able about him. If you like demons and murder with a foul mouth heroine then you should read this book.
