A typical day in the life of Charley Davidson involves cheating husbands, missing people, errant wives, philandering business owners, and oh yeah...demons, hell hounds, evil gods, and dead people. Lots and lots of dead people. As part-time PI and full-time grim reaper Charley Davidson is used to the good, the bad and the dead. She coming to terms with who and what she is and that her daughter is destined to save the world. With the forces of evil hell-bent on banishing Charley and the son of Satan by her side maybe Charley can save her happily ever after, after all.
Review
Eleventh Grave in the Moonlight is the eleventh installment of the Charley Davidson series by Darynda Jones. After the way the last book ended Charley now finds herself feeling both good and bad about her future and the future of her daughter. In the yay column she managed to trap one of the gods of Uzan, in the boo column there are still two running amok and one of them happens to be her husband. When the ones closest to her start being effected by her war she risks her everything to make things right. This book by far is the most emotional book of the series so far. The ending makes me both crave to read the next book and run away, because I have a feeling it's going to be a heartbreaker.
