Rogue Wolf

Rogue Wolf is the fourth book in the Shifter Squad series by J.C. Diem. Despite what the tittle reads this book has very little to do with the rogue wolf and more t do with a succubus who's been picking off hikers in the woods of West Virginia. I really enjoyed the first three books, they were funny and I enjoyed the growing relationships between Lexi and the rest of the squad, but in this book Lexi becomes a doormat and instead of fighting for what she wants she sits by herself and cries. Don't get me wrong everybody needs a good cry every once and a while, but there are times you cry and there are times when you pull up your big girl panties and fight. The whole thing between Lexi and Reece in this book has made me seriously think twice about continuing the series. It goes from this cool bond to I don't want to be near you and I don't want to be part of the team either because you're not born shifters. He comes off as a dick and she lets him. He nearly strangles her and eventhough it wasn't his fault the moment he pays her attention everything is okay? I don't think so, she's being walked all over and she's suppose to be an alpha. It really bugs me. So, yeah I think I'm done with this series, I could care less how it ends.
