Some Girls Bite the first book in the Chicagoland Vampires Chloe Neill. Merit was a grad student from one of the influential families in Chicago. Then one night while walking across campus she's attacked then tree days later she wakes up in the back of a limo in a cocktail dress. That's only the beginning to the changes in her life. There's her roommate the new sorceress, her grandfather and his merry band of supernaturals that act as a go between for the supernaturals and the human police. And then there's Ethan Sullivan, the man who made her what she is. he has a reluctant attraction to him and the feelings are mutual. Vampire life is looking to be a difficult transition but Merit's going to go at it like she does everything else, with a high ponytail and a world of sass.
I like Merit's attitude. Her I'm my own person mentality. I like her snarkiness. I want her to be with Ethan but first I want him to pull his head out of his butt so he can see how truly amazing she is. But as we know men are stubborn so I figure it will take awhile.
